The club is dedicated to helping young rides to achieve their goals.
Our youth racing team meet regularly for events and training.
Our coaching team help prepare you for regional and national level events

A double headline for this announcement, a tandem if you will. Cos cycling is better done together. (Side note, research shows that all performance metrics are improved by cycling with others.)
Anyway, on with the announcements....
This Saturday all Academy riders shall meet at the clubhouse at 13:00. NOT 13:30.
The active part of the session will run from 13:15 - 15:00. Please always arrive at 13:00 so we can organize groups and not waste any active time. We are also excited to share with you that we have been selected to trial the new British Cycling Youth Development Framework. This will allow our Academy rides to work towards national governing body awards.
Lastly we have received some complaints from our parents and guardians!!
Apparently our youth cyclists are too good and it's making for some difficult family bike rides :)

Adult skill sessions start this Saturday.
"Join us at Wheal Jane on Saturday's (fortnightly, check calendar page) for a coaching session designed to make you a more confident and safer rider on the road. The focus will be on essential braking and cornering techniques, ensuring you're equipped to handle the twists and turns of any ride. Whether you're just getting started or have a few miles under your belt, this session offers valuable insights for cyclists at all levels. Sign-on is at 13:00, and the session will run alongside the children's lessons, creating a welcoming environment for the whole family. Come along and boost your road safety skills while enjoying the ride!"

Our Mission
Whether you're just starting out, wanting leisure rides, getting into racing and anything in between we're sure to have something to
suit you.
Children and adults alike can learn to ride safely, on traffic free road and off road circuits with British Cycling qualified coaches.

Who are we and why do we like everything to do with bikes? Our club is run by volunteers to promote people of all ages getting involved with cycling.
You don't have to be good at cycling to inspire others.
There are so many things that can really make a big difference, especially when we host races.
