A club built by volunteers
Who are we and why do we like everything to do with bikes? Our club is run by volunteers to promote people of all ages getting involved with cycling.
You don't have to be good at cycling to inspire others.
There are so many things that can really make a big difference, especially when we host races.
Please let us know by filling out this form if you would like to help out. All welcome.

Our Mission
Whether you're just starting out, wanting leisure rides, getting into racing and anything in between we're sure to have something to
suit you.
Children and adults alike can learn to ride safely, on traffic free road and off road circuits with British Cycling qualified coaches.
Events Organized by Wheal Velocity
2025 looks to be a exciting and busy year for all you biking fans.
This is the list of formally organized events with agreement on dates from British Cycling. We need to coordinate with British Cycling so the dates don't clash with others, both locally and nationally. Further more all the events form part of a bigger series of events across the south west, youth crit series and swxc league.
I am sure we will add to this list with informal events as the year takes shape.
All events will have races for all age categories, Under 8's up to Vet's.

“Hi I’m Zach and I’ve been in Wheal velocity for less than 2 years and my experience has been brilliant. It still is as well! When I first joined I was a bit nervous but the coaches completely changed my feelings, they were so welcoming and kind. I’m 11 now and in the time I’ve been at the club I’ve improved by a mile. Come and give it a go and make the most of it.”
Zack, 11 years
